Two passengers — who landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport from Spain and Italy this morning — are sent to a hospital, the airport director has said.
“They were sent to hospital for check-up as that they had heat ,” captain AHM Touhid-ul Ahsan told .
When asked about the 2 Bangladeshis infected with coronavirus, who returned from Italy, he said, “We haven’t any information on once they returned and by which airline. We try to seek out out as other passengers, crew, and pilots of that flight need check-ups too.”
Two men and a lady — aged between 20 and 35 — tested positive for the virus on Saturday. Two of them are from a family.
They are now undergoing treatment at a hospital within the capital. Three more Bangladeshis who came in touch with them are quarantined — two during a hospital and one reception.
