Coronavirus: 3rd death toll in India has been confirmed

A 64-year-old COVID-19 patient gave up the ghost at Mumbai’s Kasturba hospital today taking total fatalities to 3 India. the opposite two deaths are reported from Delhi and Karnataka.

Meanwhile, the amount of coronavirus cases in India rose to 125 on Tuesday, whilst the govt put the country during a near-total lockdown with states shutting down schools and colleges and banning gatherings.

With the positive cases of COVID-19 showing a rise , the govt after a gathering of a gaggle of ministers (GoM) proposed a group of social distancing measures to be effective till March 31.

The government has advised people to take care of 1-meter distance between people till March 31, as a precautionary measure. the govt has also restricted entry of travellers from the ecu Union, Turkey and therefore the uk from March 18, 2020. However, this decision are going to be reviewed again.

Lav Aggarwal, Joint Secretary, Union Health Ministry said that compulsory quarantine of 14 days has been put in situ for passengers coming from UAE, Qatar, Oman, and Kuwait.
